Alarm clock - countdown timer for any future event. After event time happens it starts count time after event. If application into background local notification will be fired on time

Stop Watch - timer for counting time of overall process. User can split counted time into intervals (laps).

Timer - animated count down timer for particular event. User can save list of predefined timers. After time elapsed screen is flashing. If application in background local notification arrives.
