TOKE

ToKE is a 'Community Exchange' Application offering a Cashless/Moneyless Exchange of any knowledge or object.

ToKE supports community-based exchange platform; aka barter.

The term ToKE is derived from ‘Token of Keynesian Exchange’.

ToKE is the solution - to deal with pure Exchange. To update Marx, ‘1 washing machine equals/offered in exchange for 1 spin dryer’.

Within the Application, the term ToKE is the name given to the point(s) earned when completing an exchange between two parties. One exchange earns one ToKE; signalling a badge of credibility. It is simply an agreement to exchange based on the respective ‘use value’ to the parties in the exchange for free. The examples below illustrate.

Ex: (1) A user posts a bicycle, with options of what they would accept in exchange. e.g., (a) 4 hours piano lessons, (a) a microwave oven, (c) one week’s holiday rental, etc. The other user accepts the most suitable offer and the deal is completed off platform.

Ex: (2) A user offers house cleaning for 4 hours, 3 days a week. Examples of the exchange they would consider in exchange could be (a) language lessons, (b) storage units, child’s wardrobe, (c) car maintenance/repair, etc..

Higher points (ToKEs) reflect higher reliability. A ToKE is effectively a badge of credibility, having no payment. Deals are not monetised, i.e., there are no fiduciary regulations, controls or fees, rather things are simply exchanged as agreed between two parties. Initially the App is offered free with an monthly subscription fee charged to Users with the help of In App Purchase feature.

In App Purchases:
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
