Tonal Harmony Analysis

This app shows harmony of chord progressions on four-part writing by analyzing it in accordance with tonal harmony principles.

The aim here is to help a user have the app perform mathematical part of the work while evaluating the rules of the harmony of chords. By doing so, user will have following advantages:

· Getting rid of remembering all the harmony rules

· Minimizing the risk of making mistakes

· Focusing on the main purpose: making music

The user adds the chords of a song to the worksheet in order. This app checks harmonic errors by showing all possible constructions and progressions of the last two chords. User can analyze all these possible chord progressions and then select and add any of them to worksheet.

You can listen chords and save to file.

The saved file has “mxl” extension. This is a universal music notation file type, and it can be opened from other music notation software.
