Durch das Prinzip der zellulären Automaten und der Möglichkeit verschiedene Parameter einzustellen, wird es ermöglicht, den Einfluss von verschiedenen Randbedingungen auf das Verkehrsaufkommen mathematisch zu erfassen.
Fahrertypen:
Durch eine Unterteilung der einzelnen Autos in Fahrertypen wird eine Untersuchung von Phänomenen, wie dem zunehmenden LKW Verkehr ermöglicht.
