FEATURES
• Infinite kaleidoscope
No matter how deeply you zoom into the image, fresh images always appear. It's a bit like zooming into a fractal; or travelling down an endless kaleidoscope tunnel. Or maybe it’s a long descent onto an alien landscape. However you want to interpret it, it’s pretty cool.
• Music visualisation
Works both with and without microphone. Works with headphones. Be warned - can be very intense when coupled with fast or heavy music!
• Clock
In case you needed an excuse to keep the app running...
• Variety
Many different user-selectable modes.
• Control
Each mode can be tweaked according to your preferences

ABOUT
tranceNdance was originally designed as an open-eye meditation assistant. The user would sit in stillness, focus on the screen centre and just breathe. Used in this way, tranceNdance becomes an effective calming device that is particularly useful for people with busy minds who find ordinary meditation difficult.
Due to these origins, the app was going to be titled "transcendence".
Mid-way into development, however, it became clear there were promising possibilities in the realm of audio response. What if the image could respond to a deep, resonant OM, for example? And so microphone support was added.
Still later, the concept of a fully-fledged music visualizer was explored. This functionality truly added the "dance" to “transcendence” and directly gave rise to the app as you see it today.
