Transforming the Carolinas (TTC) is a research study app to respond to the health, wellness, and social needs of transgender people of color in the south. TTC provides information and resources and offers a space for trans people to connect with peers anad experts on their health, wellness, and social needs. App features include:

- Activities: engaging activites to help you take charge of your health
- Forum: get answers to your health questions and connect with peers
- Resource locator: find health providers in your area, HIV test locations, and PrEP
- Additional Resources: articles on a wide range of topics related to your health and wellbeing

The TTC app was created by Lisa Hightow-Weidman, MD, MPH, a public health scientist. The principal investigator for the Transforming the Carolinas research study is Dr. Tonia Poteat at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
