A transparent messaging only platform specifically designed for students, educators and parents to communicate safely outside regular school hours. (6th – 12th graders) Our technological tool’s sole purpose is reduce the current issue of inappropriate student educator relationships which have become more prevalent in schools today.

Also, transParentSee provides brand protection for school organizations by proactively mitigating costs associated with the misuse of technology. Our platform gives educational leaders and their employees a safe alternative to texting or social media private messaging and avoiding the negative outcomes that occur from such misuse.

There are currently 25.3 million secondary students in the United Sates alone (National Center for Education Statistics) and 66% of middle school students have cell phones compared to the 82% for high school students. (2015-Pearson-Student-Mobile-Survey).

However, with the advent of technology such as cell phones, conversing and social apps, email, and other electronic means of communicating, this danger grows more powerful. Educators have unlimited access to students outside of the regular school schedule and without adequate parental supervision student safety has been compromised.

transParentSee believes technology has wonderful benefits and that good digital citizenship is a shared responsibility by all stakeholders who value a safe educational experience for all students.

transParentSee is committed to working hand in hand with educational leaders, school boards, educators, communities and their families by including parents on all messaging between students and their educators.

Parents receive real time push notifications every time a message is sent by an educator or by their child so that parents/guardians are always “kept in the loop” to ensure that all communication is appropriate and completely transparent.

Other unique safeguards include no photo, video and emoji sharing to prevent harmful image shares and misconstrued interpretations by emoji’s. Additionally, complete message and reminder history logs are also provided for full transparency.

Finally, we believe no messaging is appropriate or necessary after 9:00pm or before 7:00am so the app will not allow messages to be sent during those hours.
