Transplant International is the official journal of the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) and the German Transplantation Society (DTG). The journal provides a forum for clinical and experimental research on the biology, physiology and immunology of both tissue and organ transplantation. Transplant International is published in twelve issues a year.

ESOT aims to become the umbrella organization under which all European transplant activities are organised, it trains and supports members through an extensive educational and basic science programme and encourages excellence through awards/grants.
