What is it about?
In this paper, three fast transposition methods of 2 ~ n × 2 ~ n matrix and rectangular matrix are given. The data matrix is stored on an external memory device that can be accessed directly. When the size of the data matrix is larger than the available memory capacity, the performance of the algorithm depends on the available memory size. The application scope and operation time estimation of the three algorithms are also given.
