Welcome to the Traveller's Rest, set in the stunning Devonshire countryside, but only 4 miles from Exeter on the old A30. We are a short drive from the centre of Exeter, Dartmoor and the Coast, which makes this the ideal place for any Traveller to Rest!

The Traveller's Rest is in an idyllic setting, perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy a fine wine, several different ales straight from the cask the way ale should be served (including guest, locally produced, as well as old favourites) and a lovingly homemade sumptuous lunch or dinner made from locally sourced produce.

The Traveller's Rest was a 16th Century Devonshire Coaching house that was once a regular meeting place for genteel folk whom were travelling back and forth between London and Cornwall - and it still has many of its original features today.
