Usage is anonymous and no login is required. You control when the Trip monitoring starts and ends. You also control who to notify about each Trip.

Battery Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
The increased battery use will only be while your Trip is being monitored. Once your Trip ends, battery usage returns to normal
