If you’re planning on heading out for a roadtrip this summer, make sure to download Trip Tunes. The fun new app uses AI to help you make a mixtape perfect for your trip. To begin, you’ll select where you’re starting, a final destination, the vibe, and trip type. You can also pick specific genres you like. Using an Apple Music subscription, the app will then create a playlist that you can edit or completely delete. When done, you can save it and open in Apple Music. The playlist can also be shared with others. Without an Apple Music subscription, you can rest locally saved playlists and preview songs.

Trip Tunes automagically creates the perfect mixtapes - err, playlists - for your trips!
No more unraveling cassettes or relying on humans to help you find cool, local music. Let Trip Tunes tireless robots do the work for you by following these steps:
1. Enter some quick details about your trip and music tastes.
2. Watch as Trip Tunes expertly curates a playlist that explores the local music scene and matches the vibe of your trip.
3. Preview and edit the playlist in Trip Tunes, then save the list of tracks locally or create the playlist on Apple Music.
You’ll get a few blank tapes to start, and each one allows you to create a single playlist. Once you’re out of tapes, more are available via in-app purchase.
Important note! For the best experience, you need to be an Apple Music subscriber. Without a subscription, you can view the track list and play preview clips, but won’t be able to listen to your full playlist. Note that Trip Tunes is in no way affiliated with Apple.
