Tripsido

Tripsido is the new platform to help connect like-minded people traveling to the same destinations over the same dates. It doesn’t matter what kind of traveling you’re hoping to do - whether you’re backpacking throughout Europe, taking a short vacation with friends, or even just traveling around your own hometown, Tripsido is the app designed to help you find travel buddies / partners to join you on your trips and adventures. The destinations you choose within the app can be anywhere - entire cities, specific monuments, venues and much more!

When using Tripsido, you have the option of creating your own trips for others to see and join, or to search for other people’s existing trips and request to join those yourself.

Creating your own trip:

It’s easy – simply enter your planned dates of travel, where you’re planning on traveling to, and a short description of what you’d like to do whilst on your trip. Then, just post your trip to the global Tripsido map. Once your trip is posted, others will be able to view your trip on the app. If anyone is interested in joining you, they can send you a “Join Request.” You can view their profile and if you decide to accept their request, you’ll be placed in a group with your fellow travelers to plan the rest of the trip together. With each additional person you accept into your trip, they will be added to your existing group. As the Trip Creator, you are in total control of who joins your trip.

Joining existing trips:

If you don’t want to create your own trip, or you simply don’t yet know exactly where you want to travel – fear not! You can browse the global Tripsido map with your planned dates of travel for existing trips to join. If you see one that you like the sound of, you can check out the profiles of the trip's members and send a “Join Request” to the Trip Creator - they will decide whether to accept your request. If accepted, you’ll be added to the group for that trip, and you can join in on the planning action!
