Twinning project
“None of them was destitute” (Acts 4/34)

Lebanon, homeland of the cedars, is going through one of its most dangerous crisis in its history that places the nation and its people on the borders of death and life.

The unemployment, the loss of value of the national currency, the disintegration of the state and its institutions, and the disaster of the explosion of the Beirut Port ... all of this led to painful and dangerous humanitarian and social conditions.
More than half of the Lebanese people now live below the poverty line, and people can no longer afford to buy basic necessities such as food and medicine.
In the face of this reality, and because every person has the right to obtain the basic necessities of life, (Article 25 of the 1948 Human Rights Bill) Saint Charbel’s family, in Lebanon and around the world, initiated a twinning project.
The aim of this project is to sponsor a family or individual in need by sending a monthly amount that can protect the beneficiary from hunger and need.
This amount is transferred directly from the donor to the person or the family in need through a method that the donor and the receiver agree on.
With this act of mercy, we can help a person, a family and the society. We can help Lebanon so that it remains to be the "message" Pope Saint John Paul II called it.
It is a communion of love, for God and for each other; it is God's only commandment for us. In living this commandment we find all our joy and peace.
