Two Midnight Rule Assistant

The Two Midnight Rule Assistant App was created to improve the understanding of Medicare’s Two Midnight Rule (2 MN Rule), and in turn, help improve the accuracy of following this rule. The App has a General Information - “Info” section, which explains the 2 MN Rule and other pertinent topics related to the rule such as Medical Necessity, SNF Benefit, Hospice, and Documentation. In addition to the “Info” section, there is a Flow-A-Patient - “Flow” section, which is a question driven logic-tree that helps care providers & case management nurses arrive at the most appropriate level of care given their patient’s unique set of circumstances. Lastly, there is a Case Management Assist - “CM Assist” section, which has helpful information to assist in the Case Management team’s daily workflow. It is important to note that this App represents a “best interpretation” of Medicare’s Two Midnight Rule and does not guarantee that Medicare will agree. It is to be used as a guide with the understanding that “medical necessity” can only be assigned by the responsible, caring practitioner and supported with thorough documentation of the acute medical concerns and treatment plan.

The Two Midnight Rule Assistant is an auto-renewable subscription App. There are 4 subscription options: The Full Access option (which includes all three tabs: General Information "Info" tab, Flow-A-Patient "Flow" tab, and Case Management Assistant "CM Assist" tab) can be subscribed to in either a monthly or yearly term, and the General Information option ("Info" tab alone) can also be subscribed to in either a monthly or yearly term.

Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription of the Two Midnight Rule Assistant.

We do not collect any personal information nor do we collect information about the location of your device.

IN-APP SUBSCRIPTIONS
The App includes in-App subscription options. All billing and transaction information is handled by Apple Inc. and is governed by the Apple iTunes Store Terms and Conditions.
