TYM concentrates on creating unique Irish content for the Second Level Irish Curriculum.

TYM's innovative design incorporates Images, Text, Audio, Articles and Sub-Articles to give levels to the language that is unmatched offering a profound educational experience.

This in-depth coverage includes: Oral Test - Picture Series, Conversation, Poetry, Aural Comprehension and much more.

Irish language articles are uploaded to TYM daily. Like common news feed apps the articles appear in a list. Each article displays an Image, Title, Date and number of Sub-Articles.

Once an article is opened there is a larger image at the top, article text in the body and an audio player fixed at the base. Simply press play, listen and read at the same time.

This helps students’ perfect pronunciation but also associate the sound of each word with the spelling of the word committing new words to memory easier.

The ability to discuss our environment or the content of an image is vitally important to speaking a second language. Press play to listen to the description of the image and click the image to enlarge and study in detail.

Article:
The description of each Article is manually split into many relevant Sub-Articles and recorded by our Irish language professionals.

Sub-Article (examples):
Translation - Full English translation of the article with audio.
Noun - Important singular nouns listed with audio.
Noun examples - Singular nouns in example sentences with audio.
Nouns - Important plural nouns listed with audio.
Nouns examples - Plural nouns in example sentences with audio.
Verbs from article - Listed in different tenses, example context with audio.
Questions - Related to the Main Article are answered here with examples, rule of thumb explanations and of course as always with Irish language Audio!
Plus many more relevant Sub-Articles added throughout the year.

TYM also has a handy search box where students can search any word in Irish, English or by date. This allows students to search and study relevant words they are familiar with or explore new words they are interested in.
