UPhoto is a decentralised application allowing for the distribution of images developed by UCOT. It enables online encryption and storage of important electronic data such as photos and videos. Upon taking the picture, the app automatically binds key information to the image such as time, location, mobile phone number, mobile phone model and photographer. Upon capture, UPhoto creates a fingerprint of the digital file which is sent directly to the blockchain. The information once uploaded to the blockchain is non-refutable, ensuring complete security and legal merit of the electronic evidence.
