Upon a Star

Upon a Star is a gift-registry app to allow you to share your wishes with your Facebook friends. You can register with Web URLS, Pictures, Geo-Tag specific wishes or just type in descriptions.

Upon a Star is your registry for your friends. Upon a Star is your registry for your family. Upon a Star is your registry for life.

By leveraging Facebook, you don't have to maintain a new group of friends. When you add a friend in Facebook, they automatically have access to your gift registry. All those family members you're friends with will have access.

Traditional gift registries allow you to register at a single location. Upon a Star allows you create a wish-list of anything. Someone trying fulfill your wish can be provided with a GPS location of where you were when you took the picture.

For gift-givers, it means a much better view into what that special someone on your list actually wants. We've all found ourselves trying to find a gift for that "person who has everything!" This makes it easy to find out what they're actually looking for.

Dad can register for that obscure tool. Mom can wish for that weird bike accessory and little Johnny can give you a specific picture of that rare figurine from the comic book store.

Instead of registering solely at big-box stores you can "Make a Wish" at Mom & Pop's boutique antique shop, or that comic book shop with the rare comic. If you can imagine it, you can add it to your Wish List!
