What is it about?

Urban Houston Network is not just a television channel, but it’s a Lifestyle! UHN-TV strives to be the voice of the urban Houstonians with the streaming of our programming. UHN-TV educates and entertains, by creating, producing, and airing original content of the arts, including fashion, photography, visual art, and music (by nationally and internationally known artists), as well as local artists, entertainers, filmmakers, and producers from the Houston area, on our ever expanding online platform. UHN-TV addresses issues that are important to all communities (especially, communities of color), and it is a safe haven, where our viewers can watch their favorite movies, videos, podcasts, and community events, while maintaining a reliable platform to promote their own products, individual brands, podcasts, and businesses. UHN-TV broadcasts talk shows that tackle hot-button issues, along with in-depth interviews of community newsmakers, authors, activists, and local celebrities. UHN-TV houses a full-service broadcast studio and editing facility, offering studio services to creators. We help artists develop and produce music videos, news releases, marketing videos, as well as short and feature films. Our aim is to provide urban creators with the necessary tools to communicate their message effectively.
