Urticaria Xplained explains what urticaria is through the illustrated story of Steph – a real person! The story reflects her journey, her experiences, and her advice to others.

We translate complicated 'doctor speak' into an entertaining and engaging language so that every person – regardless of age, gender, culture, and condition – can have access to medical information they can understand.

Many patients are confused about their diagnoses and lack a proper understanding of their conditions and treatments. There is a disconnect between the language that doctors use and language patients understand which leads to a sense of hopelessness and anxiety for people at an often very difficult time in their lives.

We believe there is a better way. We believe all patients should feel informed and empowered in order to become truly engaged in their personal and medical decision-making.
