UTree - Arborii Noștri

UTree este o platformă IT dezvoltată de compania Lynx Solutions în colaborare cu Asociația Pando, care găzduiește catalogul online al arborilor urbani din România.
Suntem convinși că este necesar cunoașterea arborilor din oraș, cu scopul de a arăta multora valoarea lor și pentru a crea o bază factuală solidă pentru discuțiile legate de managementul lor.

Catalogul arborilor este completat de către voluntari – locuitorii entuziaști – care prezintă interes asupra aspectului spațiilor verzi. Acest catalog al arborilor urbani asigură informații actualizate în mod regulat despre starea arborilor din oraș și calculează beneficiul lor ecologic.

Poate fi folosit de administrația locală ca un instrument eficient în identificarea arborilor problematici, în desfășurarea unui management de risc pro-activ.

Aplicația a fost dezvoltată în cadrul proiectului „PROFESORUL COPĂCEL / CE ÎI ÎNVAȚĂ ARBORII PE COPII”, finanţat din Fondul pentru Mediu în cadrul Programului vizând educaţia şi conştientizarea publicului privind protecţia mediului.

A UTree a romániai városi fák online katalógusának helyet adó, a Lynx Solutions informatikai vállalat és a Pando természetvédelmi egyesület közreműködésével fejlesztett online informatikai platform.
Meggyőződésünk, hogy ismernünk kell városaink fáit ahhoz, hogy értéküket sokak számára közvetíteni tudjuk, és hogy egy szilárd, tényszerű alapot biztosítsunk a kezelésükről szóló vitáknak.

A városi fák online katalógusát önkéntesek – a zöldövezetek állapota iránt érdeklődő lelkes városlakók – töltik fel, rendszeresen frissített információkat nyújtva a városi fák egészségi állapotáról. Mindemellett az applikáció kiszámítja a feltöltött fák ökológiai hasznát is.

A fák sorsa iránt elkötelezett lakosok és a zöldterületek védelméért dolgozó civil szervezetek számára ez az online katalógus egy értékes, támogató eszközt jelent. Lehetőséget kínál arra, hogy tevékenységüket hatékonyabban végezhessék a települések zöld örökségének megóvása és fenntartható kezelése érdekében. Az önkormányzatok pedig a problémás fák gyors és pontos azonosítására szolgáló eszközként használhatják.

Az applikáció a „PROFESORUL COPĂCEL / CE ÎI ÎNVAȚĂ ARBORII PE COPII” elnevezésű projekt keretében készült, amelyet a Környezetvédelmi Alap a Környezeti nevelési és tudatossági program keretében finanszíroz. További infók: www.afm.ro

UTree is an innovative IT platform developed by Lynx Solutions in collaboration with Asociația Pando, designed to host Romania’s online urban tree catalogue. The platform aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of urban trees by providing a reliable, data-driven foundation for discussions on their management and ecological value.
We strongly believe that knowledge of the trees in our cities is essential—not only to showcase their environmental and social importance but also to support informed decision-making regarding their care and preservation.

The tree catalogue is continuously enriched by dedicated volunteers—engaged local citizens who are passionate about green spaces and their role in urban life. Through their efforts, the platform delivers regularly updated information on the condition of urban trees and quantifies their ecological benefits.

UTree also serves as a valuable tool for local authorities, enabling them to identify potentially hazardous trees and implement proactive risk management strategies to ensure public safety and urban sustainability.
