The VÚB Junior Banking app is designed for children and young people aged 8 to 18. It is up to you when you decide to give your child access to this app. Maybe just when they get their first smartphone.

• Pocket money for your children is safer in the app than in cash
• In case of loss or theft of the mobile phone, you can easily deactivate the app as a parent
Useful functionalities in the app
Simple pocket money requests
A child can request pocket money through the app:

• Parent – you will receive a notification about the pocket money request with the amount and purpose in the parent app. After approving the notification, a pre-filled payment order will be displayed in the VÚB Mobil Banking app. Just confirm it and the money will be transferred to the child’s account.
• Someone else - a payment link will be created in the app that the child can share (e.g. via Whatsapp, Viber, email, etc.). If the recipient has mobile banking from a bank that supports the Payme service, after clicking on the link, they will see a pre-filled payment order, so they can easily transfer money from their account to the child's account. Otherwise, after clicking on the link, they will see all the necessary payment details to make the transfer to the child's account.




Safe ATM withdrawals
With the VÚB Junior Banking app for children, your child does not need to use a plastic card to withdraw from an ATM. They simply select the ATM withdrawal function and the amount in the app. The app generates a code that the child enters into the VÚB ATM and withdraws the cash.

Rewards for completed tasks
Need extra motivation? Assign your child tasks through the app for which they can receive pocket money from you. Keep track of the task status and send rewards automatically. This way, children learn about the value of money and learn to manage their own funds.

Playful financial quiz
Thanks to the money quiz in the app, you can introduce your children to the world of finance in a playful way. Whether you have younger or older children, they will all find useful and interesting information in the quiz. Almost 100 fun exercises of varying difficulty await them, thanks to which they will gain a treasure in the form of knowledge.
