Vanessa V. Boutique

The actual physical location of Vanessa V. opened in March of 2010 in the town of Lafayette, LA to cater to the woman who felt like she could not shop in a boutique because of whatever reason (her age, her size, the fact that she needed one-on-one help but was too embarrassed to ask).

I made it my mission to travel coast to coast to find lines that were not already in Lafayette, that my target customer would love, and of course offer all this at great prices. My reputation built quickly in Lafayette as friends told friends 'Trust me, you CAN shop at this boutique, just walk in and tell Vanessa what you need and she will dress you!'. I loved the one-on-one experience and when a customer would send ME a thank you note or tell me how many compliments she received wearing Vanessa V., I knew I was doing my job. Unfortunately, after 7 years in business, my family relocated to Wilmington, NC, I closed the store and I focused on raising my 3 young sons. It did not take long before I started selling in the Vanessa V. Facebook group. My customers missed the store, and I missed them.

Now, I am back home in Louisiana, still raising my boys, and still offering hand picked styles that will make you feel, what I call 'The 3 C's"-cute, comfortable and confident. Will I ever open another brick and mortar location? Never say never. But until then, I am here to dress you virtually.
