I've been through this by myself. Vaping had quietly become part of everything like working, walking, thinking and even resting. I wasn't chasing pleasure anymore, just stuck in the loop with vape in my hand and I really thought that this magic stick helps me.
Nothing changed until I slowed down and started planning my vape sessions to control vaping instead of using vape just when I want. During planned session I silently counted breaths and found peak number. This was starting point in my journey to freedom.
I paid attention to each puff, tracked how it felt. Then I noticed that puffs are differ from each other. One of them are really necessary and others not.
Over time I gave up from that unnecessary puffs and the urge started to fade. I didn’t force it, just kept noticing without pushing myself to quit faster as possible. Then in couple of weeks the habit softened. And one day I realised that there is no necessary puffs at all, I am free!
This app is built around that process - vape control. I tried to implement vape tracker, that helps to go the same way easier. A gentle, structured approach to reduce nicotine, finally quit vaping and never come back. No pressure to quit overnight.
