Vegan scanner contains contains a curated database of more than 700 can-be-vegan and non-vegan ingredients. It helps you choose vegan-friendly grocery items when you are shopping in super-market.
The app provides two scanning options:
- You can easily scan a food product barcode to know if it contains non-vegan ingredients.
- You can also search for ingredients individually.
The app supports 1.5 million food product barcodes. It also supports both UPC and EAN barcode formats.
The app uses Blockstack auth to save your data in an encrypted form, that means only you will ever be aware of what items you are scanning unless you choose to share your scan results on Facebook.
