Verified by Quin is a verification platform and network. That means we connect businesses and customers, allowing both parties to verify documents, communications and the actions of others. Quin verifies in real time, alerting you if the item (like an email or bank statement) is fraudulent or altered.
The Verified by Quin app allows you to verify any electronic or paper document, statement or email containing a Quin Code. A Quin Code is a QR code containing the Quin logo and labeled as Verified by Quin.
Quin was created to prevent fraud related to altered documents. Example documents include purchase orders, bank statements, paystubs, letters from banks, or anything else containing a Quin Code. After downloading the application, you can test it out on our demo page at https://verifiedbyquin.com/demos/
Verifying an email is simple as taking a picture of the Quin Code from this app. If receiving the email on a desktop, just point the Verified By Quin app at the screen and capture the Quin Code. Immediately, you are told the source of the email, subject, date and real sender. If this doesn’t match the actual email, you are being phished and should not act on the email. When receiving an email on your mobile device, just capture the Quin Code as a screenshot, and open the image with the Verified by Quin app.
