App Store Description

Following in the footsteps of an unknown Irish monk of the 6th century, Colomban, let yourself be carried away to discover the origin of European construction, the diversity of today's Europe through the nine European countries along the route, but also yourself as all great pilgrimages like Compostela allow.

Via Columbani is the first application to offer a free Europe-wide digital topo guide on more than 7500km of routes on foot, by bike, boat or motorbike (Saint Columbani is the patron saint of motorcyclists).

To preserve nature, the different routes are not marked out in the field, only this application will allow you to set off on an adventure with the navigation system of your smartphone or tablet. Beyond your position displayed on a route and a detailed background map, you intuitively have access to a variety of information: route description, points of interest and tourist content. The application automatically chooses the language of your telephone operator if you are German, English, French or Italian, otherwise the information will be in English.
