Virtual Check-in

Virtual check-in is a first of its kind HIPPA compliant mobile application meant to facilitate and automate the patient check in process at their physician's office.
It provides several advantages over the traditional check in process:
First, the patient can at their convenience confirm and reconfirm their appointments five days and 24 hours before their scheduled date. They could also request a cancellation and reschedule using the application.
Secondly, patients who download the application will automatically have their doctor's offices notified once they arrive in the parking lot, using Blue-tooth low energy emitted by their smartphones or Bluetooth device.
They can then wait in the convenience of their cars or homes until the office is ready for them. At that time, they receive a message inviting them in, thereby completely bypassing the waiting room.
Finally, the application provides periodic real time updates about any delays and other changes with respect to the patient's appointment.
