The Civitavecchia App, developed by Swiss Innovation Lab AG in collaboration with Port Utilities Spa, is a Touristic guide that enriches your visit to Civitavecchia, the Port of Rome. It guides you to the Points of Interest, provides you with practical information and gives you suggestion on how to best spend your time while visiting. Different city tours, realised as a Scavenger Hunt featuring augmented reality and supported by a beacon network, makes the App also a game for the entire family. The Civitavecchia App works both online and offline and supports Location Based Marketing as well. It also enables you free access to the Wi-Fi network within the port area.
