VoiceMap

“VoiceMap” is a mobile navigation app developed for visually impaired people. With the vision to bridge the digital gap, this app enables everyone to enjoy the benefits of technological advancement. “VoiceMap” provides users with navigation services within the campus of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, including integrated geospatial information about public facilities.

“Voice over” feature can facilitate the visually impaired users to retrieve location information.
“Route description” function elaborates on the overall instructions of routes in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
“Start navigation” function allows users to navigate with the assistance of a mobile app from a specific starting point to the endpoint.
