App Store Description

This app invites you to discover in 3D the luxurious event venues of the Hotel Maria Cristina through an unforgettable interactive experience.

This Luxury Collection hotel is located in the city of San Sebastián, Spain's Basque Country.

Since opening in 1912 the recently restored Hotel Maria Cristina has been closely linked to the history and cultural life of San Sebastian. The lavish Belle Époque interior is filled with soaring columns, 19th-century portraits, rich silk brocades and glorious chandeliers making for a truly opulent experience.

The Basque Country’s world-renowned cuisine, along with delicacies from further afield, draws guests to the superb dining venues in the hotel.

Business travelers are spoilt for choice with four sumptuous function rooms.

Since the San Sebastian International Film Festival was inaugurated in 1953 Hotel Maria Cristina has been the rendezvous spot and preferred accommodation of the stars, attracting legendary names such as Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis, Woody Allen and Brad Pitt.

Tailored meetings and events

Four luxurious function rooms with state of the art technology can be used separately or configured into larger spaces to provide myriad options for meetings, conferences, launches, dinners or a special celebration. Conveniently located on the ground floor off the grand gallery are the hotel’s three palatial reception rooms: the 282-square-meter Ibaia; Elcano, which offers 206 square meters; and Zubia, covering 109 square meters. There is also a 60-square-meter space called the Aia. All rooms are filled with natural daylight and offer high-speed Wi-Fi plus the latest facilities for computer-generated audio-visual presentations. Ibaia provides the perfect setting for a wedding banquet or special celebration. In sumptuous Belle Époque style the double height ceiling is supported by a series of majestic columns topped with gilded Corinthian capitals. Female effigies and flower garlands in delicate plaster adorn the walls. Providing spectacular illumination are a series of century-old bronze and glass chandeliers, while five sets of damask-swathed French doors provide access to the river-view terrace. El cano and Zubia are both ideal for gatherings or meetings which require a sophisticated setting. Their combination of pastel and white décor, spectacular columns and antique crystal chandeliers creates a seductively timeless glamor. Both rooms feature French doors which allow natural daylight to flood in and large open-air terraces offering unparalleled views of the adjacent Victoria Eugenia Theater. For more intimate meetings or presentations Aia fits the bill, offering all the latest technology and facilities along with natural daylight and a delightful river-view terrace
