App Store Description

Whether you believe it or not, most of the visitors actually don't visit the Oktoberfest for the beer but for the many other attractions like the amusement rides, the roller coasters and their countless varieties. If you are a fan of fun rides, crazy carousels and the like, the Oktoberfest has got many attractions for everyone.
The rides at the Oktoberfest range from tame and comfortable carousels like the ancient but much-beloved "Krinoline" and the timeless chairoplane, Ferris Wheels, to breathtaking overhead experiences in the "Top Spin"and spectacular rides such as the “Höllenblitz” (“Lightning from Hell”), the “Skyfall”, the “Teufelsrad” (“Devil’s Wheel”).
Take a virtual tour with Resi and Sepp and enjoy with them a save trip with the most exciting carousels at the Oktoberfest. Just looking how fast those rides are, people feel sick. You can hardly imagine how it feels to ride 100kph, head over heels, one after another.

1. The Star Flyer is the newest sensation in the world of Tower rides. It is a unique attraction that appeals to both young and old. The Star Flyer is similar to the spinning swings type of ride that has been around for decades, except with one difference – the Altitude." Unlike the free fall rides the Star Flyer transports you to a height of 180 feet in the air offering a safe, fast but gentle ride with a spectacular view over Oktoberfest and Munich.

2. The Cyberspace is a huge pendulum with a gondola, that is swinging back and forth at a height of nearly 50 metres. In addition to that, the gondola is rotating around its own axis, so passengers are hanging head down in the air.

3. Riding the small electric Autoscooter (Bumper cars) on the metal floor is a lot of fun. Seems there are no traffic rules and everyone is trying to bump into the next car.

Maybe in real life you wouldn't dare to - here you can! This is a real 360-degree Video - no simulation!
All the rides have been recorded as real authentic 360-degree videos. They are NOT computer generated rides like in many other apps.
Especially if I you can't make it to Munich, enjoy this Virtual Reality App to visit the famous Oktoberfest and take a thrill ride with the greatest fun rides in Munich.
With VR glasses and our App you can enjoy this breath taking ride, safely and comfortably.
You get the a real riding experience of the full 1200 meter route of the Olympia roller coaster as well as other attractions at the Oktoberfest.
During the ride you can move your head into every direction and look around you, see the girls screaming while you are relaxing on a revolving chair also able to turn around 360 degrees. This is a lot of fun and would be virtually impossible during a real roller coaster ride.
You can take the ride as often as you want to - again and again, with no additional costs.

How to use the App:
Start the app and slip your iPhone into the VR headset (ie. Cardboard) and put it on your head. The App then uses the myriad of sensors already available on the iPhone to replicate your head movements, allowing you to look around the virtual environment.
Of course, being made from Cardboard, the Google Cardboard isn’t the most comfortable headset to wear, especially over long periods of time. It’s a good starting point for mobile VR users, but if you find yourself still wanting to use VR after the initial novelty has worn off, it may be worth investing in a slightly more expensive, but more comfortable option, like the ones we’ve listed below.
