-VRound TOKYO: About Handling User Information-

The virtual reality app “VRound Tokyo” provides 360-degree panorama photos of famous sightseeing spots in Tokyo that can be freely viewed.

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (hereon referred to as “the company”) will handle user information (hereon referred to as “user info”) acquired from the 360-degree virtual reality (VR) app “VRound TOKYO” (hereon referred to as “the app”) as follows.

Article 1: Handling User Info
The company shall automatically acquire the following user info via the app when it is used.
・Terminal information (hereon referred to as “the terminal info”) such as the operating system (OS) and device type of the terminal utilizing the app
・The usage history information (hereon referred to as “the usage history info”) of the app

Article 2: User Info Utilization Purpose
The user info acquired by the company will be used by the company as follows.
・To offer the 360-degree VR experience service (hereon referred to as “the service”) provided by the app and to improve the service in the future

Article 3: External Transmissions
The company will transmit (send) the usage history info acquired by the company as prescribed in Article 1 to InstaVR Co., Ltd., which is the enterprise that offers InstaVR (hereon referred to as “InstaVR”), the VR app creation tool used by the company to create the app and offer the service, or any subcontractor that is managing the server (hereon referred to as “the management server”), and shall utilize the usage history info within the scope prescribed in utilization purpose of Article 2. The management server may be located outside of the countries of residence of customers.

Article 4: With or Without Information Collection Module
The company uses InstaVR to create the app. The apps created by InstaVR are automatically loaded with Google Analytics; however, the transmission function used by Google Analytics is in halt mode (OFF) on the app.

Article 5: Provision to a Third Party
Excluding cases based on laws and ordinances, the company shall not offer user info acquired by the app to any third party other than those expressly stated in Article 3 without consent from the user.

Article 6: Consent
When downloading the app, users should confirm the contents in “About Handling User Information”, consent to (accept) the contents, and then download the app.

Article 7: Quitting Usage and How User Information is handled
The company will deem users who have deleted (uninstalled) the app as persons who have quit using the app. In such cases, user info shall be handled as followed.
・In cases where users delete the app from their smartphones using the smartphone function for deleting, information related to the app housed in the smartphone shall be immediately deleted.
・In cases where users replace or dispose of (scrap) smartphones without deleting the app, beware that the user info in such smartphones shall not be deleted.
