What is it about?
VRU is an educational supplement meant to explore the possibilities of virtual reality as a teaching, learning, and experiencing tool. In its current version, VRU targets Art History. In a classroom setting, one can only see pictures of art on a dim smartboard. Art History requires better visuals to immerse students in the subject matter. VRU uses 360 panoramas to place the student right at the site of the art's creation, giving them a better picture of how art is meant to be experienced with the bonus of boosting retention for standardized tests.
