What is it about?
Vuleka leverages mobile phone technology already in everyone’s hands. Informal traders can use their mobile phones to place an order with Vuleka – via USSD code, SMS, App or a call solution. Our aggregation platform then processes their orders and generates a collective order per product, creates customer histories, and calculates fair prices. This is all the data we need to get out on the streets and bring them the Fast Moving Consumer goods. We use the power of text messaging to aggregate demand for food and unlock wholesale prices for the Informal traders. The App is linked to a virtual wallet making purchases cashless
