Walk With Me:

Explore Cornwall in a new way! Walk With Me plays you home-grown stories collected and re-imagined by award winning Cornish theatre company, Kneehigh. Discover the sights, smells and stories of a local area in ‘GPS’ mode: or, listen in the comfort of your own home in ‘Armchair’ mode. Whichever way you play it you will experience funny, magical and often moving stories springing from the streets, cliffs and beaches of this beautiful and distinctive county.

As part of Kneehigh’s Rambles Programme, local poet Anna Maria Murphy, began walking the roads less travelled of Cornwall in 2010, collecting stories and memories from people she met along the way. Anna then interpreted the stories, to make an entertaining, and often moving, living landscape rooted in real people and places. In 2013 we released the Perranporth Rambles, a story walk app that relived the stories collected by Anna in the popular North Coast surfing town.

In 2016 we began a series of Cornish residencies called the Heritage Rambles. Working with a local museum and a group of young people in five different locations (Mevagissey, Newquay, Bodmin, Helston and Redruth), Anna and other guest artists, are working to collect and interpret local stories for residents and visitors to enjoy.

In 2020, we added FOUR new magical audio walks, including two specially created with the Eden Project.
