Hoganas Environment Solutions (HES) has a need of a sales tool to demonstrate performance
efficiencies of its water and wastewater treatment technologies to the market. If the
characteristics of influent water, flow rates and operational details are known, it should be
possible to estimate the performance efficiency of the technology and the treated water quality.
This tool will assist HES to quickly assess the needs of its potential customers and nature of the
solution HES is going to provide. The software uses various algorithms to calculate the outcome
of the treatment processes. The software requires optimum number of known inputs from the
user to best estimate the performance efficiency of the treatment technology.
