Watercooler

Watercooler is an App.net and Twitter social network client with a clean appearance. It dedicates extra space to post viewing by using list-based navigation instead of toolbar icons at the bottom of the screen.

IMPORTANT NOTE: App.net is a paid service, and in order to use it with Watercooler, you must first have an account which you can get from their website.

Features:
• Supports multiple App.net and Twitter accounts.
• Quickly switch between account timelines by tapping the header.
• View posts in which you are mentioned.
• View user profile for yourself or another user.
• See recent posts by yourself or another user.
• Follow and unfollow other users and see who follows whom.
• View conversations with a swipe.
• App.net and Twitter are color-coded so you always know which one you are viewing.
• Reply to posts.
• View mentioned users, hashtags, and links.
• Dim replies in timelines.
• Open links in posts in the embedded web view, which provides a full-screen landscape viewing mode.
• Share links to various services.
• Add web pages to a read-later service.
• Copy links to the clipboard or view them in Safari or Chrome.
• Filter loaded posts for text content.

App.net-specific features:
• View the App.net global stream
• Star and repost App.net posts.
• Cross-post your App.net posts to Twitter on a post-by-post basis.
• View your App.net timeline with or without replies to people you don't follow.
• Mute and unmute users you follow.

Twitter-specific features:
• Uses Twitter accounts set up in iOS settings app.
• Favorite and retweet Twitter tweets.

Read Later services supported for web pages:
• Instapaper
• Pocket
• Readability

Also supports sharing pages via:
• Pinboard
• Tumblr
• Facebook
• Email
• iMessage/text message
• Clipboard

Gestures and shortcuts:
• Tap-and-hold a post in the list to see quick actions (like reposting, viewing a link, seeing other posts with the same hashtag, etc.)
• Swipe a post (right-to-left) to see the conversation that post is a part of (or replies to it).
• Tap the post list title to quickly switch to the posts in another account.
• Swipe left-to-right on most screens to go back to the previous screen.

In order to help you make an informed decision, note that there are a few things Watercooler does not support at this point:
• No push notifications.
• No direct messages.
• No searching all posts for keywords.
• No support for Twitter lists.

Requires iOS 6 or later. Supports iPhone 5's 4-inch screen.
