WaveSynth (TS)

WaveSynth allows you to generate sounds using combinations of simple tones. Combine tones with complete control by selecting the note, octave, semi cent, phase, balance, volume and function of each tone!

The interface is built for simplicity and functionality. You can change tone settings while you are listening to them and can even change more than one setting at once, thanks to the magic of your multitouch screen.

This application is great for creating multi-tone effects! It can even be educational! For example, what happens when you create two identical tones, then set one of them to -1 cent? What happens when you create two tones of the same pitch, but increase the phase of one of them by %50?

Are you a musician or a singer? Use this application for easy pitch reference when tuning or warming up! Are you an engineer or a sound technician? Use this application to test the frequency range or left and right channels of your system!

You can select from 4 different wave types:

Sine wave
Triangle wave
Sawtooth wave
Square wave

More wave types will be added, so if there are any that you would like, please send us an email and we will more than likely include it in the next update.

Processing limitations restrict the amount of tones that can be played at a time. The iPhone 3G S can play up to 10 at a time, and all other devices can play up to 5. Increasing this limit will be one of our biggest priorities for future updates.
