A quick way to have the consent of the other person in an anonymous and safe way. It helps avoid misunderstandings and empowers you to say YES if you decide it!


This app can confirm consent occurred or didn't, between two persons.

How it works:
1) You both need to have We say YES installed on your phone!
2) Scan the QR code of the other We say YES person
3) Fill out the first name of the other person
4) say YES (or no)!

ANONYMOUS
Does NOT save your history on anyone's phone! Nobody (including us) can see any of your consent history. Once you consented, it looks as if you never used the app!

You can even delete the app and decide to use it again later!

Only if you request to authorities, they can track back your consent history through a unique identifier. We say YES does not store any sensitive or personal data and is double encrypted!

Q: What’s the point of this app?
A: We say yes, is a tool for education and awareness about common sense. It is common sense that what happens in an erotic space between two is of the order of intimacy and the search for shared joy. By empowering you to have a non-verbal way of asking for consent, we want that the app contributes to a discussion about consent and how to go about it in a sensitive way.



Does this mean consent?
No. With We say YES you agree upon the conditions to be consensual. A consent does not imply a right nor an obligation.
Having an agreement helps if there is a discussion on how to interpret a situation. It has its limitations.


What is We Say YES?

It’s a positive way of saying YES together! We say YES is a platform designed to protect you when consenting with someone else, prior to any activity.

With We Say YES we want to protect you from misunderstandings and protect you in the future.

The idea of the app is to have a proof that there was some kind of consent among two people, while making it anonymous for you and the other person.

You just consent (or not) by scanning the QR code, saying you’re not drunk and confirming it and after that the info is deleted from your phone and the consent has been recorded in a secure system, without knowing your name or easily trackable information.

We Say YES allows you to have consent from any person you want while making the consent anonymous to you, the other party and us. This means that the other person does not receive any information about you other than your first name (if you decide to share it).
That information is deleted from your phone. The consent information can only be retrieved if asked by authorities to We Say YES. When you sign the consent we generate data about the consent that would allow an authority to determine it was you and the other person that said YES/no to a consent proposal, but nothing is ever stored in your phone and the other person has no information about you by consenting.

The thinking behind it:

We say yes, is an app that aims to return the common sense that a sexual encounter is as an act of mutual trust, mutual respect that favors a sincere meeting where both parties feel empowered to express their expectations.

We say yes, is a way in the language of apps to facilitate a conversation about the intimacy of two, in a way of saying safe sex in the sense of intimate erotic or sexual mutuality.
