Wednesday Junior 與一般球隊不同的宗旨是除基本技巧外，更重要是讓小朋友明白：
1. 如何用「思考」及「觀察」令小朋友打籃球更有趣及輕鬆。從而推展到其他領域上如學業、藝術及其他運動興趣。
2. 以團體籃球練習的方式讓小朋友更明白「團體」的重要性。Wednesday 是一支團體籃球的球隊。與坊間只重視個人技巧的練習班並不一樣。
3. 球隊會定期舉辦邀請賽、對抗賽或其他賽會安排的杯賽。藉由起初的失敗至慢慢努力至成功去讓小朋友親身體驗何謂「失敗乃成功之母」以及後來的成功的喜悅。這也跟坊間只有訓練而缺乏比賽的安排大不相同。

The purpose of Wednesday Junior is different from other academy is that in addition to basic skills, we are more concern of:
1. How to use "be smart” and “observe” to play basketball. This can lead to a more interesting game situation to the child. This habit can then be extended to other areas such as academics, art, and other sports interests.
2. How to apply group basketball concept to help children better understand the importance of “teamwork”. Wednesday is a team basketball academy. We are different from other training classes that only focus on personal skills.
3. The team will regularly hold invitational tournaments, competitions or cup competitions. Through initial failure and gradual efforts to success, children can experience firsthand what "failure is the mother of success" means and the joy of subsequent success. This is also very different from the common arrangement of only training but lacking competition.
