WeldinAir app allows to communicate with the MSA electrofusion, the CNC 4.0 and TOP 2.0 compatible units using Bluetooth connectivity.
WeldinAir app is designed to offer the possibility to collect all relevant information necessary to document that the welding process has been done properly and following the correct procedures.
During the preparation phase, the user can collect the barcodes with the iPhone camera and send them to the MSA or CNC unit.
The user can download from the welding machine the fusion records and associate them pictures in order to document the installation process.
While the fusion is ongoing, a real-time welding monitor allows to share the machine display on the mobile device in order to be able to remotely check the process itself.
On MSA electrofusion units not natively equipped with Bluetooth, WeldinAir app works in combination with the WeldinAir Bluetooth USB Dongle: an external hardware retrofit extending Bluetooth features to the machines.
Using GPRS or Wi-Fi network, the information collected on the mobile device could be send to the supervisor using email or file sharing tools.
