Welding Inspector's Stopwatch

Welding Inspector's Stopwatch calculates heat input (kJ/in) and welding travel speed (in/min) by averaging the amps and volts input by the user while the stopwatch runs. It's designed for an inspector or welding operator to confirm the actual heat input of a weld to that specified by the welding procedure.

Heat input may also be calculated manually using one of the three built-in calculators.

1) kJ/in (manually) based on travel distance, time, amps and volts
2) Distance to travel in a known time while staying under the permitted heat input
