The WeMeetApp connects people beyond the virtual network in real life experiences. Be part of a social network of people who want to be active together. Meet with new people see new places - simply try new stuff - and along the way find friends.

The WeMeetApp is a swipe app where cards describe events or activities of a group of other people, which invite you to join. We will also match you with people with similar interests to get active together. Every event has a set time and location as well as other specifications. When invited WeMeetApp connects you in a group chat with the others.

FACEBOOK LOGIN: The app requires Facebook login. Your profile picture in the WeMeetApp network will be your Facebook profile picture. We want to assure by additionally showing the number of your Facebook friends on your WeMeetApp account to build a safe network in which people feel comfortable meeting up.

HOW IT WORKS: To join an activity we designed a three step procedure. Firstly, create a WeMeetApp event. Secondly, be democratically invited by the participants. If you accept the invitation you commit on a thrust basis to the event and you will be connected in a group chat with the others.

In more detail lets go through the three steps.

CREATE A WEMEET EVENT: Create a WeMeet event yourself by first specifying the category - social: e.g. going for drinks, concerts, bars etc., - games&fun: e.g. sightseeing, cultural events, playing Pokemon go etc., and - sports. Then specify date and time, location on the WeMeetApp integrated maps. Finally, select how many others can join and then post the event. You can also choose if the group shout be only boys, exclusively for girls or a mixed group.

SWIPE EVENTS: By swiping events right you signal interest.

THE MAJORITY OF HOSTS INVITES YOU: The host will get informed and can choose to send you an invitation.

WE MATCH YOU WITH OTHER PEOPLE: By swiping single persons right you signal that you have interest in creating an event together in the future.

ACCEPT THE INVITATION: By accepting an invitation you commit to the event on a thrust basis, it’s simple impolite not to show up. If a single person was matched to you, you have the option to create a WeMeet event together and send an invitation directly to your match. Note that all events have minimum 2-3 participants by default, as we want to create a fun environment to hang out in groups.
