The app can be used to explore what is going on underneath Melbourne as the West Gate Tunnel TBMs will be the biggest ever used in the Southern Hemisphere – almost as long as three E-class trams and as tall as the top of the dome at Flinders Street Station.

The West Gate Tunnel TBM AR app features an augmented reality model of a tunnel boring machine! In your app, explore the augmented reality 3D tunnel boring machine (TBM) by pointing your device camera at the TBM model image. You can view the TBM model image key from your desktop, or print and download the tracker (also available from West Gate Tunnel Project Info Centre.)
