Wild and Glorious: concept

The Wild and Glorious concept

The direction of travel by Wild and Glorious readers is towards fulfilling, pleasurable, and successful lives. How does Wild and Glorious contribute to this journey?

It unravels valuable truths for us by exploring the effects of experiences that life throws to us. Each month Wild and Glorious tells, with truth, one or more stories of experiences, told with truth, that help to unravel some of what is true for ourselves.

Why focus on experiences?

Nowadays, our world combines undreamt-of opportunities, astonishing discoveries and inventions, constant upheavals of change, and scary, risk-filled uncertainties. Millions of us are having experiences undreamt-of by earlier generations.

Exploring the experiences of others helps us to get to grips with the variety and complexity of our world - but there is more.

Experiences are such a rich seam of information for us. It is time to tap into our experiences and take control of the ways that they change and shape us.

In Wild and Glorious, all of the twists and turns of experiences are laid out. They show the details of what worked well and what hindered or obstructed.

Exploring these stories can be like trying on new, made to measure, clothing. What suits you? Does a story offer solutions that fit a problem stressing you? Or does it open up new avenues to explore? Does it inspire your quest for a fulfilling life? What in a story of an experience “rings bells” with whatever is true for you?

Wild and Glorious tells these stories in a mix of words, images, diagrams, short videos, and sometimes in drawings.
Features and functionality

Each edition has a main story of an actual experience that brought about change. The events and happenings in the experience are described, together with the attitudes, feelings, values and beliefs being affected. Alongside the words and images explaining the experience, diagrams are used, for example of a belief in action; and also short videos, each 1-2 minutes in length.

Experiences of two or three themes are developed across a number of editions of Wild and Glorious. For example, one current theme is about the impact on ourselves of the choices we set up and explore before making important decisions.

Another current theme is about how artists are changing our world, using the ongoing discoveries of science and technology.

There is an ‘Over to You’ page, drawing together some ideas from the experiences.

The edition finishes with a fun page, followed by a page of links to images and references in the edition.

The direction of travel is towards fulfilling, pleasurable, and successful living. Why wait? Jump aboard, and begin exploring with Wild and Glorious now.
