Wild Essex

An app for anyone interested in British wildlife, particularly but not only in Essex, and particularly but not only if you record the species you see. Contains descriptions and photos of more than 650 of the birds, animals and plants you are most likely to notice in the countryside, helping you to identify them and, if you wish, to record where and when you have seen them.
The content relates specifically to Essex, but most of the species included are more widespread than that.
It also has 'Test your knowledge' games, so you can have a bit of fun while you learn more about wildlife.
For recording, it provides a good base of species and sites, and additional species and sites can be added – and, once added, never need to be entered again.
Records can be kept as long as you wish, and can be exported via email to store or send elsewhere.
