You will receive a debit card in your name, you will have more autonomy and you will be able to see the spending limits of your card, as well as the rules of use that your employer chooses.

Ask your employer for a bigger budget for your expenses on the fly, in case you need it. You can do this from anywhere and at any time, while travelling or away from your office.
