Word Attack Free

Word Attack is a highly entertaining game where the idea is to make words on a grid. It differs from many word games in that speed, agility, and quick thinking are just as important as a good head for words. New letter tiles float on to the grid at all times, and you need to move these around to form words either horizontally or vertically. Once a word is formed, it can be removed from the board. If the board fills with tiles, then the game is over.

Word Attack Free has 50 levels to work through. Upgrade to the full version for a small fee to eliminate Ad's and gain 50 new levels.

Each level sets a different task that must be performed in order to complete it, giving the player a different challenge each time. Long words provide a greater score, as does linking words together, particularly if a ring of words can be formed. The appearance of dreaded black pieces create an additional difficulty, as they eventually will fill up the board unless they can be surrounded by made up words and destroyed. Special joker letters, that can be changed to whatever letter is desired, also arrive to help the player create words.

The game can be played using word lists from multiple languages, allowing people to form words from their native language, or to select the additional challenge of finding words in a foreign language. Currently supported are English, French, German, Russian and Dutch.
