Working Alone App

Oil Workers, Maintenance personnel, Health care providers, Social Workers, Correctional Officers, Forestry, mining, environmental employees and many others all may be required to work alone on occasion. This app allows the user to set a check-in time to estimate the time required for their task. If the user fails to check-in at the pre-selected interval, the app sends a message with location information to a supervisor or emergency contact. The emergency contact can then try to contact the user or send help as may be necessary.

In order to keep organizational costs low, this app facilitates communication between user and emergency contact but does not engage in expensive outside monitoring. While keeping costs low, the app also helps your organization show due diligence by emailing the worker a log of the working alone session which can be reviewed and stored as part of an organizations safety documentation requirements.
